Our design firm's roots date back more than 30 years. Kim began her entrepreneurial journey at the tender age of 19 by opening "Kim's Kollections" an eclectic retail store catering to the Film & TV trade in the city of the stars Los Angeles.
She curated vintage clothing, furnishings and accessories ideally suited for local Hollywood productions. After moving to Atlanta, she discovered a real natural talent and passion for interior design and styling.
She began by just helping family and friends with their design challenges. As a result of her work, she became much sought after outside of her immediate circle and decided to turn her passion into a full fledge business, and thus was born Modern Luxury Designs.
In 2021, she decided to expand Modern Luxury Designs to include various services, thus rebranding to Kim Childs Interiors.
